First Blog Speak...Ms Faughey Plz Approve!! ^_^

ok ms faughey please please pleaseplease dont be mad at me....i started reading this book called Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson...please please please approve it...bcuz i love yu =D...ITS A BALLIN BOOK...but its a good from ive read so far its about a girl named Melinda who is crazy shy in high school...because of an accident that happened last year at a party...idk what happened yet tho nd her ex bestie Rachelle doesnt talk to her anymore nd she is basically hated by all the cliques in her school....her parents kno something is wrong but cant get her to open up...she doesnt talk to basically anyone but her art teacher...he realizes something is wrong and through the assignments and drawings he gives her tries to draw her out....its a story about a girl who has probably been abused and doesnt want to and/or kno how to talk about it and slowly its causing her to self destruct...and i even made a COOL question like the pro's ^_^ lol...

i finally finished my book...even though it took me forever...lol...so yea this book wasnt as bad as i expected but it was still annoying to read...i KNEW this was a girly book...there were like 10 guy scenes in the entire book...but this book has really sad but not sad ending...Zach the boy Lily likes goes into the city with a group of other black boys and the attack a white man and get arrested...Clayton the lawyer goes back to the Boatwright house and relays the news but they try to keep it away from May ...the most sensitive sister...some how May finds out and commits suicide drowning herself in a river..later after thhe mourning is done...a boy confesses and Zach is let out of jail...he and Lily were hanging out in the bee hive and they vow in the future to try and be together even though in their present was impossible...T.Ray comes to the Boatright house to get Lily...being very angry and violent...but August speaks to him and convinces him to let Lily stay....in doing that Lily starts skool down there with Zach and makes alot of new friends ...Even though i kno my book is not feminist i noticed that it shows really strong women characters living independently from men...i just wanted to point that out.

I mean ... call me late as ever...but i just noticed that there are maddd racists in this book....lol....thatz y Lily can't be with Zach....smh...man is that racist

KAPLOW!!! chapter 7

I'm on chapter 7 ... i havent read this book in so long i almost forgot i had it...but i got up to chapter 7...in this chapter Lily meets herself a sweetheart...o0o0o0o...his name is Zach future lawyer blah blah blah...its sooo sad that society wont let them be together...they have feelingz for each other emotionally and sexually...o0oo0oo0o...Rosaleen has to move into May's room because it will make her feel safer but that makes Lily feel neglected and abandoned making her jealous ...it also seems to be that the black mary actually does have a story behind it...it was found in a river by a group of slaves a long time ago...they brung it back to their house and basically worshipped...but the slave master intending to keep it away from the slaves chained the statue up but it somehow found its wayy back to the slaves every time...the statue offered the slaves some form of spiritual unity or power...and was passed on down from generations...beautiful story**tear**...and then they have some ritual where they have to touch the statue nd Lily being so "spiritually overwhelmed" faints.

BAMM!!! chapter 5

ok im up to chapter 5 now...very proud of me...i didnt think i would read that much four days...she so0o0o ran away from home...bcuz her father was an abusive jerk...i think me nd Lily kno that...nd he told her that her mom left her b4 the day she died but she had just came bak to get her clothes...NOT NICE...ok so then she goes to the hospital that rosaleen is being held at and somehow find a to get her out...then they both go to triburon to find out some info about a picture her mom had...so they find out about ths hone company whos logo was the picture her mom left her or Black Mary...so they got to thet boatright house which is the family that owns the honey company...so she makes up a story about how she going to live with her aunt because her father died in a tractor accident and they let her stay with them...but August Boatright can def. see that shes lying...and im going to keep reading now =D

YAAAAY...CHAPTER 1

ok...like i thought from the beginning this book is wierd...its about this girl who thinks she killed her her mother in a fight between her parentz**sob ='[**...nd in her wall lives a colony of bees(weird)...nd she tells her father T.Ray but he doesnt bleev her(normal)...so she trys to catch some bees in a jar to prove it(DANGEROUS/WIERD)...thatz chapter 1...lets keep reading ughh =/

ok ms faughey before i star writing i would like to say first...im NOT gonna use regular english...2 i really didnt hav enuff time to finish this on time so if its incomplete, dont choke me =D...nd 3 I LOVE YOU!! lol.....ok my bokk is called the secret life of bees nd im gonna be honest i chose it because i didnt have as much time as everyone else and the name is cool(you prolly wanna read right now). I dont expect to get alot from reading this beacause, look at the name. You gotta be kidding me, but knowing ms faughey and what she makes us read all the time theres prolly something very deep lying within this book. Ok...i learned that this lady Sue Monk Kidd is weird, she published her first book when she was 40. i dunno about everyone else but when im 40 i think i might have an actual/official career in which i put in too much time and effort to actual establish and publish a full novel...but i hope this book is cool...i really do, but i heard that one of her other books was so0o turned into a chick flick...and i dnt wanna read about a chick flick...i read one b4...wo0o0o i didnt kno girls were so explanatory lol...well im outtie
